Interns from the NUHS Veterans Clinic were out in force Saturday afternoon. Salutes to Kimberly L. For hosting our presence, and Deah P. For rounding up 7 interns to see what a difference taping seeds on auricular points can make with pain. Cases treated included 3 shoulders, 2 backs, a neck, and other assorted "no relief" scenarios presented by biker vets and their family members, for our learning edification. The weather was ideal, the food good, the music okay, and the reception was gratifying. Tomorrow we meet the Rush Veterans' Group and in 2 weeks we are out at Cantigny to teach more pain buster tricks, and kick off our Healer Warrior Academy.
